John,

I agree with your post. I thought the deep air crowd went out of favor when we lost Rob Palmer a few years ago. Rob was the perfect example of sooner or later. He was one of the most stringent supporters of the deep air crap. Now he's dead.

I don't understand why anyone would want to go to 200'+ and not remember what you saw, not have the judgement to solve a problem if something goes wrong.

It seems to me that doing the deeper dives with a clear head ( ie; keeping your END's at 130' or less) makes much more sense than the chest pounding, deep air bullshit.
