Keep watching this board. Lots of dive sites talked about, both beach and boats. I like the Spectre out of Ventura, but part of that is having every other Friday off. Good boat, crew and food. Same with the Liberty. ALso check out California Diving News, www.saintbrendan.com. Dry suits are great,or THICK wetsuit. Water is generaly low to mid 50's that time of year.
