Project AWARE is a conservation program promoted by PADI. Their version of save the reef, save the fish. Least that is the line they give. The only time I've gotten anything about it was when I went through their basic course a couple of years ago. SSI's course was much harder, but that was 1970, when I first got cert'ed.
