Crushed neoprene has very little thermal protection. The DUI SUIT has a telescoping torso with suspenders. This makes it easy to get into and the suspenders keep the crotch from saging around your knees. The crushed neoprene is probably the most durable and long lasting material that a dry suit can be made of. When plain 7mm neoprene dry suits have bit the dust you will just be breaking in a crushed neoprene suit. They are good for years of heavy use. One of the best features is the front entry, it allows you to put it on and take it off without help. Also latex seals are more water tight.
