Compressed Neoprene is similar to crushed, but the
later is patented by DUI. Both offer same characteristics.

The air bubbles are not gone - back in the wars with MHK
it was discussed that CF200s still do compress a bit at
depth. The lack of insulation has more to do with the thickness
as Ken points out.

I would not send someone to the DUI site to get information
about dry suits. Just get on a diveboat in winter
and talk to people.
