In addition to my earlier response, I just now read Ken's post and understand now what you were referring to.

Ken speaks of some Zeagle neoprene that obviously is called 'crushed' as well but seems to be 4mm thick or more. With all due respect and not in defense for DUI, but I believe that it is not what DUI understands under 'crushed'. In other words, it is likely to still contain insulating air bubbles.

For comparison, my DUI CF300 crushed neo is 1mm (!) thin. DUI claimed that the CF300 was 25% thinner than the CF200 which would then be around 1.3mm thin. I hope this emphasizes the difference between true crushed neoprene and other material that just goes by this name but is rather compressed and still contains bubbles that provide insulation.

On a side note, it will be hard for Randy to talk to drysuit divers on a boat, considering that he lives way out in the desert.
