I worry about tanks as they relate to my dive and following my logic of if it's not directly needed for the dive you don't take it mentality I leave them off...
I have several tanks in my garage that when I took the boots off the bottoms were very corroded..
While admittedly anal I do everything I can to keep streamlinned and the boots serve no purpose in that regard so I don't use them...
