I spent many sweaty days in tomato fields around Fresno as a graduate student. My best friend's family used to operate one of the last bottled milk dairies in Fresno. They closed in the 70's. For those of us in ag, Central California is a very distinct region. In the Central Valley, it runs from about Lodi to the Tehachapis. Along the coast its a bit different.
