I believe your reluctance to consider this is that you are completely unwilling to accept anything that does not fit your DIR philosophy. That is the true nature of this thread, not the use of a BC or lack thereof.
You also failed to address my other points in the original response. Perhaps because they challenge your "true" beliefs.
