Being a new diver I am rabid for all information I can find about my new sport. I subscribe to Rodale's Scuba Diver, Skin Diver, California Diving and Dive Training mags. All decent as far as I can tell but spend too much time on travel destinations. We own our own 25' boat and have two children so travel to exotic locations is, for the forseeable future, out of the question. What I am looking for is a magazine that features more articles on safe diving, California diving, accident prevention, gear reviews etc. Does anyone subscribe to DIR/Quest magazine? How is it? Any others you could suggest I try? Thanks again for the input.
