I think we're wasting a lot of cyberspace debating the pros and cons of DIR as it might apply to recreational sport diving. I think it best we wait until the 100 page "manual" on its application is made public by the GUE folks in Florida. Hopefully (prayerfully!) it will clarify all the confusions and misconceptions and leave us with a relatively simple decision: DO IT or DON'T. Just my opinionated opinion, y'all.
