Does properly weighted mean having to kick with your
head down to stay at 20 and 15 feet for any safety
stops? I am assuming you ment to convey you are properly
weighted, right?

"The long hose and octopus are not needed if you
dive alone. They add equipment which increases
drag and increases the opportunity for snags in
the kelp and other things."

So then there's a trade off.

Refresh my memory here Chris; you like diving
with a Poseidon Odin correct. And you have only
one first/second stage correct? No second or "octo".

Given the fact that these regulators fail closed
by nature of their upstream valve design, doesn't
that mean the reg would complete be void of delivering
air at depth should it indeed fail? Since you
regularly dive to depth greater than 130', do you
intend to do a blow and go from that depth - with
or without a game bag full of bug?
