Not only does the sandeaters schedule a dive every Sunday morning, but they keep the SoCal diving community informed about issues which affect divers and diving. They were instrumental in keeping beach access to Long Point (Palos Verdes). The club also participates in ocean environmental causes such as cleanups and fish counts. The Snadeaters is more than a scheduling organization (but they won't always admit it).
