Frank;

Attempts at answers:

1) Solo in other activities but not scuba. Who cares what other activities encourage? Are you suggesting that because flying solo is an accepted practice that there is anything to suggest diving solo is safer than diving with a qualified and compatible buddy? That is a non sequiter. You keep making this connection and I keep missing it so, please, explain how one is relevant to the other. You've acknowledged in the past that two self-sufficient divers diving as a team are safer than one. What are you getting at?

2) Finding a buddy. When do you want to go?

3) He widely available for trimix fills. He is already widely available for trimix fills, at least in this country, just not in dive shops. Dive shop availability comes with demand. Demand comes with education. That takes time.

He can be purchased more easily than O2. He costs between 20-40 cents a cubic foot. That's about $5-10 for a 30% He fill in an AL80.
