at this time, I have a sherwood shadow. the hose that feeds the power inflator first goes through the octopus. I see lots of these configurations. The shadow is a low profile design for this use. works real nice. So far, the best answer I get for it not being DIR is that it isn't DIR. I can mote all other arguments. At least I did with MHK.
