At DEMA in Las Vegas a portable chamber was being shown which could take a diver to 3 ATA. I think I remember a price in the $10 to $20 thousand range. The guy in the boothe said that they felt the market for the device was well-heeled "expeditions", not dive boats. His explanation was that to use it would require either an MD or at least a chamber tech. Hyperbaric treatment is, after all, practicing medicine. Also note that a USN table six (standard treatment) requires 7 ATA capability.
