Even though I've been one of DIR's most outspoken "devil's advocates", I describe my decidedly un-DIR diving as a mission; a mission to explore sunken wrecks and recover legally recoverable artifacts. Mission, goal, target, , purpose, a rose by any other name it's the reason we dive. I caution you not to be contemptuous of DIR before investigating it with an open mind.
