What problems have SoCal divers had with Poseidon Odin's?

My dive shop is mainly a tech shop. They sing the praises of Poseidon to hell and back. I was looking to buy one to upgrade my old setup. What problems have people had in California waters? I dive here in the Great lakes and am currently using a Sherwood Blizzard reg.
