Colin,

Excellent post. I wasn't trying to single you out, in fact I stated that you were getting mix certified, so I think it's important for any potential deep diver's to learn as much as they can before they go deep.

I am happy to discuss this with anyone. I am a reformed deep air diver and now don't go deper than 130' on air.

To answer the other poster's question, what did you see? The answer is NOTHING. At approx. 180' the rig is bare. There is nothing but iron. The rig isn't covered with anything. The only reason we did it was because we were scheduled to go to the Matterhorn but got blown out. We were mixed for 330'so we decided to see what was down there. I would not bother to waste the mix or the hang time again.
