We're ice diving here in Michigan. I've been using dry suit gloves with the latex seal. (a side note, if your diving deep get some surgical tubing to put under the seals of your wrists. When you feel the "pinch" on your fingers raise your hands above your head for a second to equalize the gloves. I then use a xxlarge pair of unlined work gloves over these to keep the gloves from ripping as easily. As far as the hood goes i'm using a Henderson 7mm with glideskin on the inside edges. One of the other divers here also smooths out some vaseline on the inside edge. He says it helps keep out the water. Not for me though. Pick up a 6 cubic ft tank for argon gas to inflate your suit. Hope this helps.
