Ya, its world famous because it's free clam chowder. I've been diving with Ira for 20 years. In the earlier days he also had (free) Tabasco popcorn to serve up with that clam chowder. This was before he had a boat with a galley. There was so much Tabasco in the chowder and the popcorn that you would feel warm all the way home.
Usually we had some fish caught and would cook it on the compressor manifold and share with everyone. Red wine was often passed around but since I was under 21 and the jug managed to pass me. Physiology was'nt comprehensable to most of the divers back then. "Same place, different time"
