Until the REAL Beta version comes out, I've been
translating the *dpl files into general *.xls
files, easily assimilated into any spreadsheet
reading plan worth it's salt. There are some
gas planning calculations that don't work exactly
right, but the tables and profile functions work
kinda clunky, but OK. They would work perfectly
if written for the Palm 3.5 OS though.
I heard a rumbling since yesterday that the Beta
version is planned to be released to previously
licensed users after DEMA.
As far as how to make the program run on CE, I
have no idea since I don't tinker with that
platform. I can safely *assume* that it's not
much different that cracking the NT platform but
with much fewer radical programming cells to
worry about.
So I guess the real story about the opening
weekend boat record will remain a mystery to
all - but be since I already know the real story.
