Personally I think spare airs are an accident waiting to happen. I think they are a completely inadequate piece of useless junk that is nothing but clutter. If you want a good reliable secondary air source then you need to get a small pony that fits neatly alongside your tank and out of the way. This will insure that you have an ample amount of air to calmly ascend and even make a stop.
