Chris posted that we could get our DFG licenses via the net. I was very skeptical but decided to give it a shot.
I completed a brief on-line application and gave them a credit card number via a secure server on Jan 17 at 4:00 PM. They issued the license same day, mailed out on the 19th per the postamrk and I had it in my mailbox on Saturday the 20th. On Sunday I was bagging Ling Cod and Sheepshead on the wreck of the Olympic.
I was expecting an incredible delay at the best, and a lost license at the worst. I ended up amazed at how well the system worked.
Just though the BBS would like to know.
