For EANx40%, you should have the first stage O2 cleaned and keep it that way by using only hydrocarbon free gas. At IP's of 120-130, there should be no problem with the seconds whether they're clean or not, but you can clean them for peace of mind.

The SP Mk20/G250 is a great reg, cleaned or otherwise. They're probably the easiest breathing reg. The only problem is the seconds suffer from engraving, particularly if you adjust them under pressure. The Apex TX100 is a copy of the G250 with the engraving problem corrected.
