For EANx less than 40%, any reg will due out of the box. The chart you cite probably follows the manufacturer's labeling. Such labeling as "not Nitrox compatible" is driven by liability concerns and has nothing to due with the reg itself. For EANx greater than 40%, at least the first stage should be O2 cleaned and maintained that way-only hydrocarbon free gas from then on.
The SP Mk20/G250 is a great reg. I use mine, cleaned, for 100% O2. That's the brass one, of course.
