frank, i know that my 'pst' hp 80 gets filled
regularly over the 3500psi rating--of course, that's
in a shop setting, not on a boat.
i also know other people who have their hp steel 80
tanks overfilled past 3500psi regularly.
the shop we get our overfills at are not paranoid
about explosions b/c they know what the limitations
of steel tanks are. alum tanks are a different
story.
in short, you can find people who will fill your
hp steel tank over the 3500psi rating w/o any danger
to themselves.
