It's nice to hear that. That's a great safety record.
When reading the dive BBS's it is easy to get a feeling that there are more bad things happening out there than really are. It's like watching a nightly news fare everyday of murders, robberies and rape. You can get paranoid and feel things are more dangerous than they really are.
I have always said that divers in CA are safer than they appear, simply because the ocean gets rid of those that are not devoted to the sport.
