I feel bad for the DM also...that's gotta suck, trying to save someone and having them dissappear before you get to them..
I was on the Pacific Nightmare two weeks before and a week after on the same Rigs/Catalina trip. They only wanted us go down to 90 fsw, and Dave was down there with his dual tanks and mixed gas watching for people plummeting like rocks beyond the 90 fsw mark, and sure enough, about a half dozed CF's dropped past 90, all the while flailing their arms and legs and f***ing with their gear. its no wonder the oil companies don't want us there!
