I think that solo diving is an one on one things. Either you dive solo or you don't....
Skydivers dive solo. They carry a back-up chut, but then they are still solo. Mybe they should dive with a buddy?
Skiers ski solo to the most part---I mean the really hard core people. A lot come home in a body bag. I'm not sure a buddy could help them, but at least they would have someone to go with.
I still think that solo diving is upto the diver.
By now with all the written stuff on the web pages that as adults they canmake up thier own mind as weather they want to dive solo or not.
To dive solo or not to dive solo -- that is the question.
Anyway it is my choose to dive solo, in most cases, and I feel that I have made the right decision for me and only me.
Thanks to all that read this and hope you make up your own mind.
