is that diving is not executed in one's native environment. It is underwater and we cannot cary out basic life functions underwater. If you have a crushed pelvis from a mountain climbing accident, you can still breath. If you get DCS or AGE on a dive you can't just breath. You need a reg and tank which only last so long assuming you are still concious. Just my .02
