It is a beautiful area of the world to dive in, just got back from Puerto Morelos two months ago.
We would hunt on deep reefs and dive wrecks all morning. And in the afternoons we would dive the cenotes.
I remember one ceote dive ( Dos Ojos I think it was ) and surfacing into a gigantic room half filled with water and half filled with air.
At the top of the 200ft cieling there was a hole with sunlight coming in, and we could see bats hining among the tree roots that were growing through the cieling and into the pool we were floating in.
A most beautiful area of the world.
