My wife and I have custom fitted skin in suits. We find them to be warmer then the equivalent clothed backed neoprene suit. The skin-in dries faster on the skin surface making the 2nd day of donning the suit just as warm as the 1st. The key to donning the suit is spraying a mild solution of soapy water inside the suit. It slides on so fast and easily that you shave 1/2 the time getting suitted up. And we all know the early diver gets the bugs.
