How can you tell they are "frivolous" lawsuits from a 5 word description? Some of them may be, but I sure couldn't tell from that website.

And if they are "serious," shouldn't dive professionals not "watch out," as you say, but be held to a professional standard of care for those under their care?

Don't you think that instructors, captains and DMs should be held to account for their negligence where that results in harm to someone else? (assuming the instructor, captain or DM does not have a good release, and even though they will be sued, a good release will be effective to bar liability - whole separate issue).

I won't quibble with you - I agree there are a lot of meritless and groundless lawsuits. But I think you're off the mark here. The sky is not falling.
