Hey all, I'm headed to Santa Cruz island in a couple of weeks, and I'm curious what's out there. Should I bring the gun, the camera, or both? I was thinking of bringing the long fins and the short, and perhaps spending the first "dive" freediving (with a buddy, y'all relax). Is it worth it out there?
Are there any "must see" spots that anyone would like to mention?

Next time I'm headed down south, I'm going to stop by the rendering plant and pick a nice fresh dead horse. I'll drop it at the parking lot at 22nd Street, and a few of our more prolific posters can take turns kicking it. I'll notify everyone in advance.
