Three are a lot of essays about the Channel Islands at www.diver.net/seahunt though I don't remember writing much about Santa Cruz Island because it will be a major project when I do. The island is 27 miles long. Look for 'Diving the Front Side'. That actually tells a lot about the front side of the island.

There is a lot of good diving there. THere is some spearing, some scallops and lots of photography. Free diving there is fun.
