Well Frank, I told you I wasn't sure how much they cost but if you look at the decline in performance that the ankle weights produce and can't justify the difference in cost you'll continue to dive like a pig. I have'nt looked into prices of ankle weights in years and I don't pay a whole lot of attention to certain items that I need to perform to my fullest underwater.
By the way, what ever MHK has to say has nothing to do with me. But I would bet that what MHK meant is that a complete DIR rig does'nt cost any more than a standard rig.
But how much does a standard rig cost? Well, that would depend on the quality of equipment purchased. I could buy crap or quality. I could buy gimmicks that don't work or I could buy serious stuff that does.
