Oh Ya. And drop the "newbie", I hate that term, you are a diver now.

Assuming you donīt want to rent a boat or get on a diveboat ( Like Prince Neptune or a smaller sixpack ) There is GREAT SHORE DIVING.

There is Little Farnsworth just 200 Yards off the Edison Plant. Great Pinnacles, leftover dive gear from other divers, and plenty of bugs.

Pebbly Beach has great shore diving and plenty of bugs. Lots of fun junk that has fallen off the boats.

Ring Rock and Abalone Point has a small wreck offshore ( a barge ) and plenty of bugs.

Under Cabrillo Wharf is fun, lost of stuff that has fallen over the side, and plenty of bugs.

There is always the wreck of the Valiant, lots to see, and plenty of bugs.

Descanso has nice diving, and the rocks on the westside have plenty of bugs.

Hamilton Cove used to be an old Seaplane airport, and there is wreck of a seaplane in about 40 FSW, and plenty of bugs.

That about sums up my weekend, hope that helps.

By the way, you do like wrecks and bugs, right ?

Kevin
