The water off of PV routinely tests out as some of the cleanest in LA Co. Keep in mind that these tests are for things like facal coliform bacteria rather than DDT metabolites and the like. IMHO, i wouldn't worry about the DDT off of White's point affecting me as a diver. I might think twice about eating any bottom feeders there but as for just diving and photog or hunting yellowtail? No prob.
