do you mean like a bottom timer
i always have a bt with me as a back up
you do have total bt and tts
granted the bt stops running when you hit your deco stop but the deco clock is ticking along with the tts
battery life will always be limited on a tri mix computer because of high cpu clock rate.

at least we can change the batteries ourselves
