what you are suggesting, Ron, is, that you know better than the computer. How do you do it? And, with all due respect, if you are much smarter about your deco status than your computer, why do you use one in the first place?
How many times have you been bent? If never, will you post it when you are?

I have never been bent in the past. How am I supposed to know if I just made it coming out unbent or if I still had plenty to go before I even would have come close (which I prefer)?

Whether I FEEL too conservative or too liberal is not the question for me. I think feelings are not the right basis to make such decisions.

FYI, looking at NDLs alone, my old computer is way more conservative than the new one. E.g., NDLs old vs. new: 15m - 64 vs 72; 24m - 20 vs 29; 30m - 12 vs 18; 36m - 8 vs 11.
However, the new one is based on the RGBM which I trust more than the old Bühlmann algorithm.
