I dove them a about a 1 1/2 years ago aboard 2 day trip the Truth with the Channel Island Divers.
It was a typical day there. Large swells and low vis.
The main part of the wrecks are in a section called "the devel's jaw"
In there the vis was about a 2 ft. with anout 5 ft of surge, many sharp things on the wreck remains, and the compass would not work becasue of all the steel.
Going in there was not the best decision I have ever made, the name should have been a clue.
The wrecks are basically rubble, there is not any large structure.
Later that day we did two dives on the SM1 neaer point conception.
That is perhaps one of the better wrecks in California. The hull is almost intact.
