At least I thought that was a little less provocative than calling him a liar. Could be wrong...
As for you...per your comment of the other day... I want you to know that sea otters make horrible dive buddies. They know nothing about assisting another diver in distress and they couldn't care anyway. You have to hide your lunch from them if they stay on the boat. They never put their gear away in their bag between dives. They're always last out of the water when it's time to go.... and just you wait until one licks your mask.
I'm just glad that there aren't any more of them on dive boats than there are.
Just my weird opinion on otters :)

PS. Actually, for a horror story, read about what happens to divers that go into their tank at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The last ones to try that I heard of, were from National Geographic. Lets just say that they didn't get their pics. Otters are tough and in that case, I guess they can get territorial.
