the same thing happened to me up at pt lobos in
monterey!!!

that little bugger freaked me out sooo much that
my inherent reaction (???) was to reach out and
rub its tummy...the wet fur felt nice, though.
but i think i freaked it out in return b/c it
spazzed out and swam away--eins, do you remember this??
