I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Jarrod Jablonski last year in Monterey, and found him to be neither dogmatic nor rude. He believes in what he is about, and can express his positions without judgmental attacks nor rancor. (I've also found George Irvine to be intelligent and reasonable in e-mail and phone discussions--if you want a fight, you can find it, but you don't have to.)
JJ will, I expect, also respect your individual opinions without denigrating you for having them.
However, if you attend to disprove a position, or to prove your own, you will waste your time--it's not a competition.
If you come away with one new idea; one kernel of wisdom that you might be able to use later, the the visit would be worth it.
