Internet broadcasting;
In my business, I am contracted for 99.999%
performance on any given 30 day cycle. That's
1,440 minutes per day.
That means that my client's product has to be
flawlessly delivered to their viewers/listeners
43,800 minutes a month average for a full time
service (24/7/365).
My total room for equipment or operator
error *per year* is 5.256 minutes, beyond that,
I don't get paid for that month. If I exceed
5.256 minutes in any given month, I will not
get paid for the reminder of the contract year.
It's a cut throat business.
