I did the LA Marathon today. Cloudy, but never one drop of rain during the race. Just two drops 10 minutes before it started, and one drop 10 minutes after I finished.
I did this only walking and it was a wise decision. I had never walked that far non-stop and I was hurting. Funny, how all the pain goes away during the finish on that last mile. But boy, did it have a comeback!
Anyway, I finished in 5:45 which is a little over 13 minutes per mile.
I never took such a long, hot shower. And I never went to bed before six PM but I will tonight | -)
