yeah, i, too, have that 'solo diving' book. and i
believe that i'm certainly mentally prepared to dive
solo, but i think it's the conventions that you talked
about: i just don't want others looking at me and thinking
'gee, does she know what she's doing??'. i guess it's
the doubt of me by others that concern me moreso than
if i'm ready to dive solo.
...i think the only way to find out is to actually
do it and see what the rxns are.
