The water's cold, VERY COLD. And the viz is non-existant - might as well cover your mask with duct tape. And the waves are really, really big, with pointy, razor-sharp rocks under each wave. And there are so many great whites that you can practically walk across their backs. They've developed a taste for ab divers too. It seems they relaized that ab divers are better for their health than all those fatty seals. Let's not even talk about the hords of rabid sea otters.
Besides, there really are no abs up here. Local business people just throw some empty shells into the water to lure unsuspecting southerners up here. All those "abs" you've seen people come back with? They're actually banana slugs. Why else do you think they have to be pounded flat to look like abs?
Nope, no abs up here. You're better off staying in nice, safe, uncrowded SoCal hunting snark...
