THE MICHAEL KANE $10K CHAMBER CHALLENGE
Michael Kane (the accountant, not the actor) is a man who puts his money where his mouth is. He believes very strongly in our Chamber and for the past two years has offered to contribute $10,000 of his own money if the diving community would raise from individual contributions, another $10,000. We did . . . and he did.
This year, he’s offering to do it again. Simply put, Michael will match, dollar-for-dollar, the first $10,000 we raise.
Although contributions of any size are welcome, we have a tiered level of donations as follows:
Diamond - $10,000
Platinum - $5,000
Gold - $1,000
Silver - $500
Bronze - $100
All Diamond, Platinum, and Gold donors will receive special recognition from our Chamber for their donation. Contributions can come from individuals, clubs, stores, boats, publications, etc.,
etc. If the company you work for has a matching grant program, that will also be appreciated. But bottom line is that Michael’s willing to cough up the cash to insure the financial well-being of our Chamber and is challenging you to join him.
Donations can either be made by e-mail to ChamberDay@aol.com or by calling Reef Seekers Dive Co., the co-ordinating store, at 310/652-4990, or even on-line at "www.chamberday.org". Cash, check, or credit card will be just fine and dandy but please make a contribution.
